Barry Underwood: Light Pollution Artist
Yes, but my attempt is not to portray environmental issues in a heavy-handed way. I think about science fiction and how the fantastic or supernatural is supported or given credibility by a ubiquitous everyday world. Within the storytelling there is a moral to the tale. There is a looking inward process or a self-evaluation (on cause and effect) and the consequences of one’s actions.

Mathematics, corals and african villages TED talks
Ron Eglash spent a long time looking at aerial views of African villages in the process came up with analogies between fractals, organic development and sustainable growth.
Margaret Wertheim, with her twin sister Christine, crochets corals that visualise hyperbolic geometry while commenting on everything from feminine craft to global warming and coral reef depletion.

Fascinating: Aesthetic Apparatus
Aesthetic Apparatus is a screen-printing company. When they produce large runs of screen prints they first test it out on a piece of paper, which they reuse many times, resulting in these multi-layered, multi-coloured prints.
Aren't they fantastic?
It is fascinating to watch new meanings form from two pictures placed together seemingly at random.
